Our Range of Storage Size Options
At Blue Bear Self Storage, we know every customer’s needs are different. That is why our service includes a range of four unit sizes, so you’re not paying for storage space you don’t need:
- 40 sq ft: Will hold the contents of a standard garden shed, or one compact van or 50-75 storage boxes.
- 60 sq ft: Will hold the contents of a standard garage, or the contents of one removal van, or 75-100 storage boxes.
- 80 sq ft: Will hold the contents of a 1-2 bed house or flat, or the contents of one Luton van or 100-150 storage boxes.
- 160 sq ft: Will hold the contents of a 3-4 bed house or flat, or the contents of 2 Luton vans or 250-300 storage boxes.

Security That's Above & Beyond
The security of everyone using our locations and the items in their units is fundamental to the service provided by Blue Bear Self Storage.
All our units are purpose-built for self-storage and come with padlocks. All our storage facilities are accessible by a coded gate, well-lit by properly maintained security lights, and covered by CCTV.
Flexible Storage & Protection
Not everything that happens in life is expected or anticipated. That is why our self-storage service aims to be as flexible as possible without costing the earth.
Our minimum storage period is four weeks, while our rolling contracts are four-weekly. You’ll also have the option to store long-term and save more with a pre-set 28 week and 52 week option when you make a booking. This is perfect if you know you’ll be storing over a long period and want to save more with this option.
We do request that your possessions are insured while you store them with us. If you do not have time to source your own, we provide StoreProtect cover, and the rase-rate is included in the price.
It is an extension to our standard contract that allows us to accept liability for loss or damage to your belongings in certain circumstances.
